Elizabeth G is owned and skippered by Rob Barlow who is a qualified commercial diver. Rob has dived the waters of the Scottish Hebrides for many years and specialises in taking dive parties out to St Kilda, which holds World Heritage Status for its marine life and stunning underwater rock formations.

Why is Elizabeth G so different? Well, as with most charter vessels, she was converted from a small ship that was designed for a very different purpose. But whereas most of theses are conversions from fishing vessels, Elizabeth G was designed and built for Search and Rescue operations by the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue (NSSR). So she’s tough and very seaworthy.

Following a major refit and conversion in 2005, Elizabeth G now provides superb accommodation for up to 12 guests. With Stalilizers fitted she makes an ideal platform for Diving charters. Cabins are warm, airy and comfortable; the food is superb; there’s ample deck space and entry / retrieval from the water is easy.
